Landrover Rear Door Handle

This is the first of my new injection moulded parts, the rear door handle.  Its made from white HIPS which has several benefits over resin, the main being it sticks much better to the body  as they are both made of it.


I have included a picture of one sprayed red so you can see the detail better, as it doesn't show up on the white one very well.


It comes in two parts, the recess and handle joined to the spur so they do need cutting and just finishing off prior to attaching.


I have also included a die cut cardboard template for positioning.  This just needs placing against the left-hand side of the door frame and under the window and from measuring a chums Landy that puts the handle in the right spot and allows you to easily mark and cut the hole out. 


This is made from white injection moulded HIPS and as no mould release is needed can be painted straight from the packet.
