Description
This is a replacement front bumper for the D90 styrene body and a direct reproduction of the real steel standard bumper that land rovers have right down to the fully shaped end caps with detail on the top.
It comprises of a cut to length piece of styrene tube, a pair of end caps and fixing brackets.
As for fixing the brackets they come un-drilled for a universal fixing and being HIPS it can all be stuck together like a normal model kit once drilled and fitted to your chassis rails.
This is made from white injection moulded HIPS and as no mould release is needed can be painted straight from the packet.

I bought this bumper set after being impressed by the grill and light surrounds. I attached the bumper to my highly modified Tamiya CC01 chassis. I had to butcher the front 'plastic brick' of the CC01 chassis, and fabricate a steering/sump guard from aluminium. The chassis legs were then passed through slots in the guard and slotted into holes I had cut in the plastic chassis. The bumper was then drilled and screwed to the chassis legs. This made a very strong and rather convincing front end. DJ Designs excellent items made this possible :)
