Description
This is a conversion kit for the gelande landrover, to turn the stock bonnet into the later one with the bulge.
The kit comes with a cnc cut piece to flat off the old bonnet and vac formed bulge and support piece to go underneath just to hold the flat plate in place.
It does require a fair bit of work and I would say moderate modelling skills.
The best way is to draw round the flat plate and cut away the old bonnet then fix the new plate in place and fill and sand this so its nice and flat, then add the bulge, and feather the edge in with filler.
Its one of those modifications that the more effort you put in, the better it looks.
This is made from HIPS and comes in three parts, then bonnet bulge, flat plate and support piece.
