Description
This is my double track double gate level crossing kit.
The kit comes with everything you will need to build four three panel wide gates. It also comes with optional warning discs, so you can have one on the centre of each gate, or half of one on each side of the middle.
The width from post to post is 410mm and the width of each gate alone is 180mm and the gate is 60mm high. I have included a picture of a 1:22 figure next to it for comparison.
It comes with a CNC cut base plate which has the correct spacing set out on it, and comes in five pieces and due to the central hole configuration it can only be assembled one way.
Assembly is required, but it comes with full instructions and useful tips.
Its injection moulded from a HIPS nylon hybrid plastic which makes it very strong and durable, but it can still be stuck with normal styrene based model glue, like Humbrol polystyrene cement and liquid poly, to name just one brand.
You will also need glue, model filler and paint to complete it.
